This Whismur is later revealed to have been named after someone that Zinnia had an extremely close connection to, who was lost years ago. Zinnia is often seen besde her partner, a Whismur named Aster, who she seems to have an extremely strong connection to, to the point where it even refers to Zinnia as her mother. Although her plans seem fairly dubious, and she fights against Brendan several times, Zinnia does what she does for the sake of the planet.
She serves as a primary character in the Delta Episode of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Zinnia is a young Pokémon Trainer and member of the Draconoid people, serving as the Draconoid's Lorekeeper.
